Why Doesn’t Huffington Post Have Asian Voices And Do We Asian Americans Even Care? 31
According to a report from Chitika, Apple dominates web traffic share among mobile devices. The online ad network’s report shows 46 percent of smartphone web usage coming through Apple iPhones, with 43% up to the 4S, and another 3 percent from the iPhone 5 alone. Samsung is second place at 17% with the Samsung Galaxy S III driving 2 percent of mobile web traffic on its network, while all other Samsung mobile devices combined at 15 percent.

Apple and Samsung combined account for a total of 63 percent of the mobile traffic Chitika sees through its millions of daily ad impressions, well over all other smartphones which are at 37 percent overall. These latest figures show that Apple and Samsung are the two dominant players in the mobile smartphone market and that no other company even comes close. And the report also shows that just two products, the iPhone 5 for Apple and the Galaxy S III for Samsung, are driving the smartphone web traffic.
