We have another excuse to write about Gangnam Style, Psy’s Korean electronica dance hit. This time Gangnam Style has reached YouTube’s all time top ten.
Since its July 15 release, “Gangnam Style”, with 432 million views, has catapulted into the top ten this week at number 9. The video also previously broke the Guinness World Record for most YouTube “Likes.”
Just a month ago, when talent manager Scooter Braun had signed Psy, “Gangnam Style” had been watched 105 million times. Since then, there have been an additional 327 million views.
Over the last month, Psy has been doing a celebration tour of sorts. He has been everywhere, appearing at shows such as Saturday Night Live, Ellen, Today Show, and the MTV Music Awards.
I have a feeling we will hear more of Psy and Gangnam Style before the year is over or at least through New Years.
