Google Launches Google For Entrepreneurs

Google launched their hub for entrepreneurs today, simply called Google for Entrepreneurs. It is a new hub for all programs that support startups and entrepreneurs worldwide. They already partnered with known startup accelerators and incubators to get things started with this hub such as the US’s Startup Weekend, Women 2.0, Kenya’s iHub, and France’s LeCamping. Their partnership with Women 2.0 in particular allows them to have more of their Founder Friday events for the coming year at various locales like San Paulo, Detroit, and Moscow. Google wants this new program to partner with other known organizations at various communities to create more programs led by Google connecting people that already work for a certain company to rising or established entrepreneurs. They also want place enough Google-based tools for startups to use so they are able to go beyond than just being just another startup.

Along with the launch of the new initiative is Google for Entrepreneurs Week, which lasts throughout this week worldwide. The Asian spots featured this week are India, which they will talk about web entrepreneurship over there, Tokyo, Taipei, and Singapore. This initiative is pretty big for Google as they see tons of potential on rising entrepreneurs and startups being notable and seen to shape up the future of our world. It is also great that it is a worldwide thing since entrepreneurship is everywhere or rising at various territories. Google creating one central hub for them is also nice to discover more new startups and programs. Also linked in the main page are Google’s partners for the new initiative that also includes the Korean startup competition called Global K-Startup. An introductory video below explains more of Google wants to see from this new hub. I personally hope Google’s new initiative goes more hope for startups and entrepreneurs to keep going to pursue their goals and dreams to make a difference in our world today.
