Jeremy Lin, the Chinese-American NBA basketball star, is having a busy summer on the Chinese mainland.

A week ago, Lin visited a primary school for children of migrant workers near Beijing. Soon after, he visited Shanghai where he joined the TV show China's Got Talent. Lin right now is in Dongguan, Guangdong province, to participate in a youth training camp. About 80 lucky teenagers age 13 to 16 will be playing and picking up tips from the NBA star.

Ever since Jeremy Lin became an NBA player, his travels to China and Taiwan have become an annual event.  He participates in Yao Ming’s charity event games and last year he visited the birthplace of his great-grandmother in Mainland China.

Jeremy Lin, while in Shanghai, also signed a contract with KFC China to become their spokesman.  KFC was one of the first American fast food chains to open in China and they have become the most successful.  KFC restaurants are very common in many Chinese cities and it could be said is even more popular than here in the United States. While in Shanghai, he took some time to shoot a promotional video for KFC.  Will KFC air a Jeremy Lin commercial here in the states?  We hope so but right now this commercial is just for the Chinese market.  Below is a behind the scenes Youtube video of the commercial.
