Why Doesn’t Huffington Post Have Asian Voices And Do We Asian Americans Even Care? 31

Tonight I was celebrating Asian Heritage Month by perusing YouTube for more Asian entertainment. (Yes, I celebrate like this by reading more about Asian American pop culture in general). I watched some new and some old videos of Kevjumba, Nigahiga, Jeremy Lin and Jason Chen. I have watched some of these videos a dozen times over. One of the videos I've seen more than once tonight is a video by the Fung Brothers aka Andrew Fung and David Fung.
The video is called "626" featuring Jason Chen. (I think we need to do a story on him soon.) He is a popular YouTube personality with a great voice, but in all honesty, he probably won't make it to American Idol because of American stereotypes of what a male singer should look like. But I digress... back to the video.
The video by the Fung Brothers is a tribute to the San Gabriel Valley area, or area code “626”. After watching 626, man I felt inspired and proud! I want to be in southern California and eat some dim sum. Seriously, it's just an effin cool video and if you don't like it, then I say you need to drink some Asian pride cool aid!
So here is the video. Enjoy my brothers and sisters!
